Join us for this ASU ACI Student Chapter Sponsored Chapter meeting:  Hear about how Trademark assists in the design stage and provides feedback on specifications and hardscape joint layout prior to construction. Lance will talk about their efforts to raise the bar for decorative concrete through interaction with designing professionals. He will share his thoughts on education and show photos of various decorative concrete projects.

CEO - Trademark Concrete Systems, Inc.

Trademark Concrete Systems, Inc. was founded by Lance in 1997, based in Southern California.  He has over 38 years of experience, including business development, estimating, project management, business operations, and strategy.

Trademark supports the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and American Society of Concrete Contractors (ASCC) through involvement in committees and publications. Lance is Chairman of ACI Committee C641 – Decorative Concrete Finisher Certification. In addition, he is a voting member of ACI 310 and ACI E703.

Lance received the ACI Education Award in 2016 for the development of “Placing and Finishing Decorative Concrete Flatwork” which serves as the knowledge source for the ACI Decorative Concrete Finisher certification program. Lance was named a Fellow of the American Concrete Institute in Quebec City in 2019.

Trademark’s work includes the decorative concrete work at the Los Angeles (SoFi) Stadium (Rams & Chargers) & Entertainment Center, Rosewood Miramar Beach Hotel, Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, Hollywood Bowl, Wilshire Grand Center, Hotel Californian, The Jeremy Hotel, Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, and Television Academy Saban Media Center.

Lance is a graduate of the ASU School of Construction (1983).
